Life is crazy!  It is Wednesday night at 11:45 p.m. and I'm finally getting time to log my run for Tuesday.  My day tuesday consisted of getting up at 4:45, running 7 miles, going to school and teaching 150 students, driving to Provo for classes until 8:30, getting home at 9:20 to 2 children who still weren't in bed, putting them to bed, and finally falling asleep on the couch while studying at about 11:00.

O.K.  So this is really suppose to be about my run and not my crazy life.  I got out of bed at 4:45 with plans to meet the BBK group but by the time I got out the door I knew I wouldn't make it for the early miles so I went to the gym and ran on the treadmill instead.  I ran 7 miles at an AP of 8:03.  The splits for the first 5 miles were: 9:00,  8:30, 8:00, 7:30, 6:58.  I then began to slow down and ran then next 2 miles decreasing my speed every half mile, so I did a half mile at 7:30 pace, 1/2 at 8:00 pace, 1/2 at 8:30 pace and 1/2 at a 9:00 pace.  I finished out my time on the treadmill by walking 1/2 a mile.  This was a good workout but wasn't nearly as fun as running with the group.

Hopefully I'll make it to the group run on thursday.

A mile in the 6's on the treadmill??? HOLY COW, I am so impressed. I do not think I have ever even run a mile in the 7's on a treadmill!!!

So, what are you going to school for?

I'm getting my masters in School Administration. BYU has an intense Leadership Preparation Program so I'll be finished next year about this time.
